Approach

I support individuals ages sixteen and above experiencing challenges with their mental health and life circumstances. My approach is compassion-focused with the intention of creating a safe space for your healing. I believe that you are the expert in your own life, and that my role as your supporter is to honour and help you to access the wisdom that already exists within you while offering gentle insight and opportunities for growth, change, and empowerment using evidence-based treatment modalities. We will work together to help you understand the neurobiology of the condition you are experiencing, how this impacts your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, and how to work with your body instead of feeling at war with your natural instincts.

I tailor my approach to my clients’ unique needs, strengths, and values. Whether you have a specific goal in mind or are looking for general support, we will work collaboratively in a manner consistent with your expectations. In addition to the modalities listed below, I approach all interactions through culturally humble and trauma-informed lenses.

You do not have to walk this road alone. Everyone deserves to have the opportunity to process their experiences, thoughts, and emotions in a safe, affirming, and productive space. I look forward to working together in support of your wellbeing.
